Pentair PC1865-R Carbon Replacement Media for PC1865 Whole House Drinking Water Filter New
It is recommended that you replace the carbon in your Pelican Whole House Filter every 5-years. The expired media is environmentally friendly, thus not requiring any special methods of disposal.
This process does not require any tools or a plumber. Disconnect the tank from the bypass valve and unscrew the distributor head from the tank by hand, then dump out the expired media.
Pour the new replacement media in the tank with the funnel provided. Follow the start up backwashing and media soak instructions and you’re ready to go.
